In 2014 the London-born stand-up made comedy history as the first black British act to be nominated for a Foster’s Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, being shortlisted for his debut show, ‘Citizen Dane’. 

He went on to complete two sold out runs at London’s famous Soho Theatre (with additional dates added due to phenomenal demand), and on numerous other TV and radio appearances including ‘Live at the Apollo’. 

This year Dane has been out touring his second critically acclaimed smash hit show, ‘Reasonable Doubts’, and stars in his own upcoming BBC Three sitcom, ‘Sunny D’.
